"Excellent play place for little ones! Love the cafe and seating for parents to relax while kids play. We need more places like this in Birmingham! Also love that they open at 8:30 a.m. instead of at 10:00 a.m. like every other play place. By 10:00 I have already lived a whole life and it is too close to nap time. "We traveled from Tuscaloosa to try out Diggin' Depot. Our child had a great time playing in the cafe, fire truck, and market. He especially loved playing in the sand box! He had so much fun that he did not want to leave when our time was up! We loved getting to watch him play in a safe environment where he could play with other kids and have a new and exciting experience. The play area and sandbox were very clean and the staff was super friendly! We will definitely be back in the near future.

"Great fun for our 1-yr-old granddaughter! Very affordable during a time when everything else is so costly. Very clean and the sand was so soft!! All of “sand toys” were wonderful and there are plenty to share. She especially loved the blocks! But…we think her favorite part was playing in the little Farmer’s Market, playing with other children, and using the play cash register!"

"Finally! South BHAM got an indoor play place. It's the only indoor play center I've been to with sand and all the fun toys that come with it. I was very impressed with the layout and structure of the play areas. There is a pretend play area to the left and the star of the show, the sand box, to the left. My favorite thing about this place is that they limit how many people are able to play at one time. Their setup allows for space if you want space which is really nice. They also serve a small selection of Baba Javas delicious beverages which is great!! You may need caffeine if you signed up for the 1.5 hour play session. This was our first time here and we are already planning our next trip!"

"I was honestly VERY skeptical about having my three-year-old’s birthday party at a place full of sand because I absolutely hate sand. But Diggin’ Depot completely changed my mind! The sand was AMAZING. It was so soft and clean, and unlike regular sand, it literally just rolls right off. If you’re looking for a construction-themed birthday party, this is definitely the place to go! They already have balloons and construction decorations in the party room, which made everything so easy and cute. And the biggest compliment I can give them? When it was time to leave, NONE of the kids wanted to go! That tells you everything you need to know. We had such a great experience at Diggin Depot, and I would absolutely have another party there!"
