• Diggin’ Depot is a sensory play space featuring a huge indoor sandpit (the largest in the state!) filled with construction themed toys like excavators and dump trucks, sensory toys, and hands-on play experiences that spark imagination and learning. We also have a dedicated Tot Spot for children ages 1-5 that features a tiny town theme. Sensory and imaginative play helps children develop fine and gross motor skills, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and social skills, all while supporting cognitive development in a fun, natural way. That means while kids are learning and having a blast, parents can sit back, relax, and enjoy a well-deserved break knowing their children are playing with purpose.

  • -Kids must be 7 years or younger. Older children (8 years or older) may enter ONLY if assisting younger siblings as space allows.

    -Parent or caregiver must stay and supervise their child(ren) at all times.

    -Remove shoes before entering. Shoes must be worn after exiting the sandbox.

    -Feet must be clean before entering sand.

    -Any child who is not FULLY potty trained must wear a diaper or pull-up (and a protective cover if necessary).

    -No food, drinks or liquids allowed in the sandbox. (We are a nut-free facility.)

    -No personal toys allowed

    -No throwing or kicking sand

    -Leave sand and sand toys in the sandbox.

    -Be respectful of others around you.

    -Report any misconduct to our staff.

    -Eyewash station is available in the event that it’s needed.

  • Diggin’ Depot Sick & Health Policy

    At Diggin’ Depot, the safety, health, and comfort of our guests, children, and staff are our highest priorities. To maintain a clean, hygienic environment across our play spaces, café, and event areas, we strictly enforce wellness standards for both guests and employees.

    Guest & Family Policy

    1. "Symptom-Free" Requirement

    We ask that all adults and children visiting Diggin’ Depot be free of contagious symptoms for at least 24 hours without the use of symptom-masking medication (e.g., fever reducers).

    Please stay home and reschedule your visit if you or your child exhibit any of the following:

    • Fever: Temperature of 100.4°F or higher within the last 24 hours.

    • Gastrointestinal Issues: Active vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours.

    • Respiratory Symptoms: Heavy, persistent, or productive coughing; difficulty breathing.

    • Nasal Discharge: Constant, thick yellow or green mucus.

    • Eye Infections: Redness, discharge, itching, or signs of pink eye.

    • Rashes or Skin Conditions: Unexplained rashes, open skin lesions, or contagious conditions (e.g., impetigo, hand-foot-and-mouth disease, head lice).

    (Note: Mild seasonal allergies, teething symptoms, or a chronic medically cleared condition—such as asthma—are exempt).

    2. On-Site Illness Management

    Diggin’ Depot reserves the right to ask a guest or child showing visible, active signs of contagious illness to leave the facility.

    • Passes & Tickets: If you are asked to leave due to illness, or if you contact us prior to your entry time to cancel due to sickness, your play pass or booking will be converted into a store credit for a future date.

    • Party Bookings: Event deposits can be transferred to a rescheduled date if a birthday child or host becomes sick within 24 hours of the party.

    3. Incident Reporting

    If a child becomes sick (vomiting, bodily fluid spills) during play, please notify a staff member immediately so the area can be cleared, isolated, and properly sanitized using EPA-registered disinfectants.

  • During sand play children may occasionally get sand in their eyes. Most of the time, it can be blinked away with no problem. On the occasion that it can’t, we provide an eyewash station near the sandbox to flush the sand out of the eyes so your child can get back to playing and enjoying their time.

  • We all know that sand can be messy (and kids love that!), but our sand is different from ordinary sand. Baha Play Sand features smooth, round grains that are soft to the touch and don’t stick to hands as much as other types of sands. It easily falls right off clothing when exiting the sandbox. We also provide a soft brush to whisk away any remaining sand.

  • Absolutely! We love when parents join kids in the sandbox. Watching is fine, but jumping in turns small play into lasting memories and learning.

  • No, parent or caretaker supervision is required at all times. However, we designed our facility in a manner that makes it easy for you to keep an eye on your child at all times, giving you a chance to have a breather.

  • We allow packaged snacks to be brought in, but not other food. Fast food is not allowed inside. The exception is if you have reserved our private party room for a party or event.

  • Yes! We have a private party room available for your next celebration. To view available dates and to book your event, please click here. We do not allow food, balloons or decor to be brought in unless a party has been booked.

  • Yes, we ask every family to sign a waiver once a year before jumping into the fun. Safety is our top priority, so the waiver helps make sure everyone understands the rules, acknowledges the risks, and agrees to follow our guidelines so we can keep the good times rolling without any surprises. It’s quick, easy, and only needs to be updated once each year, so you can focus on playing and leave the worry at the door.

  • Cleanliness is very important to us! On a daily basis, the sand is lightly sprayed with a safe, hydrogen peroxide based solution, raked and sifted. The toys are also disinfected and wiped down on a regular basis.
